These letters are about their travel to India and their meeting with Malakah Jahan, wife of Muhammad ʻAli Shah, and Fakhr al-Taj, daughter of Muʻayyir al-Mamalik in Mumbai. On one of the pages Bahman Bayani gives some explanations about the people in the letters.

Mustafa to ʻAbd al-Husayn Mirza Farmanfarma, 1913
Mustafa reports about the city, including the story of taking several prostitutes to the house of Haj Shaykh Baqir Mujtahid to execute Shariʻah law. He also talks about the harassment of a Jewish woman. The author has sent two copies of this report, one to Tehran and the other to Tabriz.

Mrs. Clock writes that while Nasir al-Din Shah oppressed the Baha’is, his daughter, Taj-Saltanah, has joined Baha’ism; also that Taj-Saltanah gave her two pieces of crocheted lace to send to the addressee to be sold, and its money be given to the Mashriq al-Adhkar
